Unser Track des Tages – „Tightrope“ -, den Chvrches während der Billboard Awards coverten, stammt eigentlich von der höchst talentierten Janelle Monáe, die ich irgendwann einmal für ein Interview treffen durfte. Um ganz ehrlich zu sein, dauerte es eine Weile, bis ich die Genialität hinter der harten Schale der „Electric Lady“ verstand. Irgendwann wickelte sie mich mit ihrem Live-Set aber doch noch um den Finger – der Anfang einer großen musikalischen Liebe, wie man so schön sagt.

Demnach ist es also nicht verwunderlich, dass mir die Kombi aus Janelles Texten und Laurens Stimme Gänsehaut über den Körper jagt:
