Today the latest issue of Dashing Magazine has been published.

Every summer we are looking forward to one event: The Chap Olympiad!
It’s a fabulous one day vintage festival in Central London.
I had so much fun doing my friends vintage make-up and hairstyling.
Just like in the olden days in Hollywood….

Though this year we had to hide half the day under our umbrellas, (it was pouring down!)
we eventually had a blast and made a decision:
We want to learn swing dancing, or jive or something…
For the next Chap Olympiad and for upcoming weddings.

It seems like there is a huge 70′s come back this season, as you might have noticed.
The seventies represent HAIR for me.
Hair was a lifestyle and women as well as men just let it grow.
My dad in fact still has his waist long seventies hair and my mum never allowed me to cut it at all.
Ah well, with the result that I cut it off as soon as I moved out.
Now days I am wiser and I will let it grow again (who knows for how long?)
At least to the length, that I can pull off all these cool plaits and stunning up do’s.
