„Hey cutie, come on, you’re so pretty when you smile!“ is definitely something women don’t want to hear anymore, because no, we don’t owe prettiness to anyone. But that doesn’t mean that smiling at others, even at strangers, is a bad idea. It’s in fact the opposite of that. Because life is tough sometimes and we’re all in this together. Whenever I see a mum trying to calm her baby, I give her a smile. If some old man seems super grumpy, I give him a smile. And if there’s someone eyeballing at me, I give him/her an extra smile to stand up to their negativity. Don’t be part of the Grinch Club.
