Home alone ️ #mood @thesegirlscom Alexandra Koch – 04.11.2019 – @nikejane Artikel-Navigation ← Tomorrow 7pm I’ll be part of the 2nd Pop Feminist Roundtable at @dhmdresden curated and hosted by @margarita.tsomou Questions around abortion are currently the trigger for heated discussions on concepts of family and women‘s role in society. What are feminist positions on this controversial topic? How about the medical, social and legal implications for women aborting in Germany – and internationally? Margarita Tsomou discusses with her guests from the fields of medicine, academia and activism, why abortion remains a political question, closely connected to questions of control and ownership of the female body. „Facts & Fiction“ is a new, interactive format introduced by @missymagazine and Deutsches Hygiene-Museum. Drawing on topical debates and selected quotes from the news and other media, dominant and populist narratives are dismantled as fiction and replaced by new positions – through facts and debate.
