As well as the mentality of pointing out mistakes whenever it’s possible rather than being thankful for everything that is done right and every little step that is taken? I still am guilty, too, in many ways: Whenever I complain about climate activists that keep on eating meat for example – while I am wearing brand new leather shoes at the same time. Others stand up against homophobia but may not have any clue about racist politicians. Some help refugees on their weekends but still buy plastic balloons. And those who fight for feminism may be going to the next big city by plane tomorrow. Why blaming them for being in a process? I can’t forget about Carla Borthwicks’s words these days: „Current world issues that you are passionate about, aren’t always what other people are trying to change… and that’s okay. It’s not everyone’s job to save every part of the world but it is everyone’s responsibility to thank every person who is doing their part to save the world. We’re all trying our best.“ Amen. @armedangels #armedangels #ecoandfair / advertising
